For the development of a new training centre at Unit 3A, Power Park, our team delivered a large-scale internal partitioning solution using the JPS60FS Jumbo Partition System. The installation created robust internal divisions within a high-bay industrial environment while delivering strong acoustic performance and fire-rated protection.
The project required tall internal partitions capable of spanning significant heights within the warehouse structure while integrating with the building’s steel portal frame.
The partitions were designed as full-height jumbo walls, forming two primary internal separations referred to as Wall A and Wall B within the facility layout. The system was engineered to reach heights of up to 11 metres, allowing the partition to run from floor level to the underside of the portal rafter beams.
The design incorporated specialist deflection head details to accommodate structural movement from wind and roof loading, ensuring the partition remains stable and compliant with fire and structural requirements.

Due to the scale of the structure, the system utilised a heavy-duty steel stud framework installed at 600mm centres, combined with high-performance fire-rated boards on both faces.
