Southampton Warehouse – 1-Hour Fire-Rated Dividing Partition

A major internal fire separation was required within a commercial warehouse facility in Southampton to improve fire safety and operational zoning within the building. Rawleigh Property Holdings Limited commissioned the installation of a large-scale fire-rated wall to divide the warehouse space while maintaining a high-quality internal finish.

To meet the structural and fire performance requirements, the project incorporated the JPS60FS Jumbo Partition System, specifically engineered for tall, heavy-duty partitions in commercial and industrial environments. The system provided the strength necessary to construct a large-span, high-level partition capable of delivering reliable fire protection across a significant wall area.

The completed partition created a 1-hour fire-rated division within the warehouse and was finished with smooth painted surfaces to both sides, providing a clean and durable finish suited to the operational environment.

The scale of the installation required careful planning and precise installation to ensure structural integrity across the full wall length and height. The JPS60FS system allowed the wall to achieve both the required fire rating and structural performance while maintaining a high standard of finish.
